Lipulekh

Why it Matters?

  • India and China decided to resume border trade through the Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand, sparking protests from Nepal, which claims the Kalapani-Lipulekh-Limpiyadhura region. Nepal termed the move “unexpected and unacceptable” but maintained dialogue with India.
