Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a national mission under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs to strengthen grassroots governance in tribal areas.
The initiative aims to build a cadre of 20 lakh tribal functionaries and village-level change leaders.
The mission focuses on three pillars: Convergence, Community, and Capability.
Key ministries involved: Tribal Affairs, Rural Development, WCD, Jal Shakti, Education, Environment & Forests.
It uses a cascade model of capacity-building via Regional Process Labs (RPLs), State Master Trainers (SMTs), District Master Trainers (DMTs). SMTs trained in RPLs will further train DMTs.
Population Services International (PSI) is a partner Civil Society Organization (CSO).
Promotes bottom-up governance, real-time grievance redressal, and participatory learning.
