The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has deployed Network Survey Vehicles (NSVs) equipped with advanced 3D laser-based systems across National Highways to enable AI-powered, data-driven road maintenance and safer journeys.
What are NSVs?
High-tech vehicles mounted with laser profilers, GPS, and imaging technology to scan the entire road surface.
Detects cracks, potholes, unevenness, rutting, and other road defects in real time.
Enable data-driven maintenance and more transparent communication with road users.
