India’s Telecom Revolution & Achievements:
India is now the world's second-largest telecom market and the second-largest 5G market.
Digital connectivity in India has become an integral part of every Indian's life.
India is among the leading nations in per-user data consumption.
Mobile phone manufacturing in India has increased 28 times since 2014, with exports rising 127 times.
The recently enacted Telecommunications Act replaces outdated laws and establishes a new framework that acts as a facilitator rather than a regulator.
Made-in-India 4G Stack:
A significant achievement announced at IMC 2025 was the launch of India's Made-in-India 4G Stack.
This makes India one of only five countries in the world with this capability.
This marks a major step towards technological independence.
On the day of the launch, 1 lakh 4G towers were activated, bringing 2 crore people into the digital movement.
This indigenous technology will help ensure seamless connectivity for all citizens.
