Why In News:

A delegation from Tripura visited Haryana under Yuva Sangam Phase-VI PGMM as part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative.

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB)

Launched: 2015, on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary (National Unity Day, 31 October).

Organised by: Department of Higher Education (DoHE), Ministry of Education.

Pairs states and UTs for structured cultural exchange to promote national integration, mutual understanding, and unity in diversity.

Activities include youth exchange programmes, cultural events, and sharing of best practices.

Guiding values: Paraspara Sampark, Pragati and Parivartan.

Yuva Sangam Programme

Yuva Sangam is a sub-programme under EBSB specifically focused on youth cultural immersion.

Youth from one state visit the paired state to experience language, customs, food, and traditions.

Constitutional Significance

Article 51A(f): Fundamental Duty of every citizen to value and preserve the rich heritage of India's composite culture.
