Key Outcomes
BRICS commited to timely information-sharing, intelligence exchange, and adoption of data-driven technologies (including tackling darknet/cryptocurrency-linked trafficking), while flagging threats from synthetic drugs, NPS, and misuse of maritime routes.
India proposed a BRICS Virtual Working Group and strengthened cross-border training initiatives, led by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), to enhance coordinated anti-narcotics efforts.
